The Management of “START ENGINEERING” JSC realizes, that declaring and applying a clear Policy for providing healthy and safe labor conditions, maintained by the entire personnel, is an inseparable part of the entire Company’s Management System.

Setting the measures for continuous improvement of the System in its portion for occupational health and safety are aimed towards preserving the personnel’s life health and working capacity, increasing its welfare and satisfaction.

In order to realize the conception of the System, the Management applies the following basic principles in carrying out its activity:

1. Based on risk assessment prepared, and in compliance with the health risks and hazards, the Company’s Management maintains and applies a clear Policy, explained to all employees, which is available to all parties concerned.
2. The unified policy for prevention incorporates the technological regulations, the workplaces and work organization, labor conditions and the social relationships.
3. Conducts preventive activity for overcoming and reducing the risk for providing safe labor conditions.
4. The compliance with, and observing the requirements of the laws in force in the country and regulations in the field of occupational health and safety as a minimum, as well as the voluntarily undertaken obligations and programs, are a basis for good attitude towards the Company of all parties concerned.
5. Provides the resources, required for the execution of the assigned objectives and tasks on occupational health and safety, and is a priority at all levels of the Company.
6. In order to adequately comply with the requirements for communication, the Management of “START ENGINEERING” JSC guarantees consulting with the workers and their representatives and encourages the active participation of all team members at all stages of applying the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
7. Each team member of “START ENGINEERING” JSC is obliged to take care and be responsible for his/her and his/her colleagues health and safety in view of the effects of his/her activities at work.
8. The Company’s Management assumes the obligation to encourage inclusion and engagement of each team member in suggesting and implementing activities for preventing potential hazards.
9. Provides appropriate training for improving qualification and skills, required for execution of the specific obligations and responsibilities and is a main objective of the Management of “START ENGINEERING” JSC.
10. The Management of “START ENGINEERING” JSC assumes the obligation to maintain the Policy so, that it would be adequate and appropriate to be applied in the Company’s activities.

The top management of “START ENGINEERING” JSC is convinced, that applying the basic principles of Occupational Health and Safety and the permanent care for the people will increase the confidence and improve the image of the company.

Following the basic objectives for:

• Constant and progressive improvement of the occupational health and safety, reducing to minimum the cases of labor accidents, occupational diseases and failures;
• Maintaining steady ability to work of the workers, occupational fatigue and stress prophylaxis and increasing labor productivity;
• Implementing personal protective equipment;
• TPersonnel training at all levels for obtaining occupational safety culture.

The Company’s Management is obliged to maintain effective and efficient Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which will be assessed annualy for adequacy and suitability.
