The team of Start Engineering JSC has equipped with unique device for high voltage tests (with kenotron vacuum tube HV rectifier), type VIOLA of BAUR company, in connection with the activity of the company as an Inspection Body of the type C. The device is portable and is provided with a system for automatic discharge and an option for entirely programmable automatic sequence of the conducted tests with data processing, memorizing and an option for visualization of the parameters on an interactive display.

The kenotron based device allows for testing of MV cables “on site”, in compliance with the VDE DIN 0276-620/621 (CENELEC HD 620/621), IEEE P 400.2.-2004, IEEE 400-2001 standards, as well as testing of cable insulation resistance and localization of a failure in the cable jacket and testing of insulation resistance of electrical equipment according to the standard. The technical parameters of the device allow for conducting tests at frequency range between 0,01 and 0,1 Hz, with sinusoidal wave form and Urms from 1 to 42,5kV, which allows for testing MV cables up to 35kV.

Start Engineering JSC is authorized to exert its activity with numerous licenses, including a license from the Ministry of Economy and Energy; Directorate for National Construction Control - Ministry Of Regional Development and Public Works; Ministry of labor and social policy - General Labor Inspectorate Executive Agency; State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance. The activity of the company has been certified by ISO 9001:2008, as well as in compliance with the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
